Changing steel slag into "small iron mine",Bayi steel improved slag comprehensive utilization, turning waste into treasure.
For this year August and September two months, Bayi Iron & Steel slag recycling level hit new high, up to 63 kg iron element per ton of iron recycled, which nearlyt doubled compared to the level during the same period last year. Based on Bayi Steel annual production capacity of 7,000,000 tonnes, 220,000 tonnes powdered iron can be recycled additionally every year, which is equivalent to dig out one set of small iron mine from steel slag, while recycling waste material, the emission of waste residue is greatly reduced, playing a good role in promoting environment protection.
