China's Stainless Steel Output is 48.3pct of World Total Amount in 2013

According to report of MEPS, China's crude steel output is 779 million tonnes in 2013, ranking as world's No.1 by occupying 46.5 percent world total crude steel output. Meanwhile, China's stainless steel output reached about 18 million tonnes, which is 48.3 percent of world total amount.

2013 world stainless steel crude steel output is expected to hit recorded high of 37.3 million tonnes, up 5.6 percent over 2012. Although output of South Korea, EU and Japan in 2013 is lower than 2012, that of Taiwan, China and America rallied up by over 2 percent year on year. What's more, stainless steel output growth rate of China and emerging markets is far higher than that in developed countries and regions.
