It is reported that Hebei-based Handan Steel has successfully produced more than 200 tonnes of L245N medium plate pipeline steel using normalizing process in accordance with the requirement of its customers, which was widely used in transmission pipeline of oil and gas.
The average yield strength of the product is 350MPa; average tensile strength reaches 476 MPa; average ductility hit 32.5 percent.
