Long steel
China-origin 16mm and up diameter theoretical-weight rebar was booked at $420/mt CFR Singapore – source: Platts
The average price of 6.5mm Q235 high speed wire rod rose by 9 yuan per tonne from the previous trading day to 3,000 yuan per tonne on Monday and that of 20mm HRB400 rebar gained 8 yuan per tonne to 2,954 yuan per tonne – source: SteelHome

Platts lowered its assessment for Q235 5.5mm HRC in Shanghai to Yuan 2,970-2,990/metric ton ($484-487/mt) including 17% VAT Monday, down Yuan 10/mt on day – source: Platts
The average price of 2.75mm HRC in China market fell 4 yuan per tonne from the previous trading day to 3,234 yuan per tonne on Monday and that of 1.0mm CRC lost 1 yuan per tonne to 4,008 yuan per tonne – source: SteelHome

Scrap
