China exported 7.8 million tons of steel products in February, surging by 62.5% from the same period of time in 2014.
During the first two months, the country’s steel exports hit 18.08 million tons, soaring by 56.4% year on year.
On the import side, China imported 870,000 tons of steel products in
February, dropping by 13.2% from the same time a year earlier. During
January to February, steel imports hit 2.03 million tons, dropping by
13.2%.
