Steel Prices in China
Long steel
- Tangshan, domestic, billet, traded at 2,050 yuan ($332) per
tonne, including VAT, 3pm Beijing. – source: Steel First
- East China, domestic, grade-III 16-25mm rebar, traded at
2,320-2,380 yuan ($376-386) per tonne, including VAT. North China, domestic,
grade-III 16-25mm rebar, traded at 2,290-2,350 yuan ($371-381) per tonne,

- Platts assessed SS400 3mm thick and above
HRC at $380-390/metric ton CFR East Asia Friday, down $5/mt on week - source: Platts
- Base export transaction prices for late
April/May shipments of commercial-grade, boron-containing HRC narrowed
downwards by $5 per tonne week-on-week to $370-375 per tonne fob on Monday
