It is reported that South Korea imported 13.4 million tons of steel products in 2014, soaring by 34.9% from the last year.
The country’s steelmakers have urged the government to initial dumping investigation on H-beam.
Trade Commission in Korea had initially determined increased domestic
steel imports from China has led to market share declines for the
domestic steel products.
Therefore, it is estimated that South Korea may impose anti-dumping duties on H-beam imports from China.
