China's crude steel output in Mar drops slightly
According to data released by the China Iron & Steel Association
(CISA), the crude steel production of the 156 major steelmakers totaled
69.48 million tons in March, down by 1.2% from the same time a year
earlier.
The country’s steel production output reached 97.56 million tons, registering an increase of 3.6% year on year.
The country’s daily crude steel output totaled 2.24 million tons. China
is still faced with an imbalance between supply and demand in the
domestic steel market.
