Indonesia begins sunset review of HRC from Malaysia, South Korea
It is reported that Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) has begun its sunset review of imported hot rolled coils from Malaysia and South Korea before the expiration of anti-dumping measure, which is being requested from national mayor steelmaker PT Krakatau Steel.
In 2011, Indonesia imposed anti-dumping duty against HRC from Malaysia by 48.4% and 3.8% for producers in South Korea. Ernawati, Chief of KADI, said that they have found initial evidence that some of the overall imported HRC from the two countries in 2014 was still dumped.
The two countries account for 43% of the total steel used in construction sector and automotive components sector in 2014.
