Malaysia to increase investment in RI: BKPM

Malaysia has committed to increasing investment in several sectors in Indonesia and will soon send a business delegation to Indonesia, an official said on Tuesday.

Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) head Franky Sibarani said that Malaysia would soon send some 20 to 30 businesspeople together with ministers to Indonesia to study certain business sectors.

"They will send businesspeople who are interested in investing in the energy and plantation sectors, toll road projects and the food industry," he said as quoted by Antara news agency.

Franky met with Malaysian Trade and Industry Minister Dato' Sri Mustapa in Jakarta on Monday night.
