Steel Prices in China
Long steel
- East China, domestic, grade-III 16-25mm rebar, traded at
2,110-2,170 yuan ($344-354) per tonne, including VAT. North China, domestic,
grade-III 16-25mm rebar, traded at 2,150-2,160 yuan ($351-352) per tonne,

price of 6.5mm Q235 high speed wire rod dropped by 8 yuan per tonne from the
previous trading day to 2,397 yuan per tonne and that of 20mm HRB400 rebar

- China, base export offer prices for
commercial-grade, boron-containing HRC, $350-360 per tonne fob, late

of 2.75mm hot-rolled coil in China down by 7 yuan per tonne from the previous
trading day to 2,569 yuan per tonne while that of 1.0mm cold-rolled coil down

- Nucor Steel Nebraska plans to
raise wire rod prices $30/st, effective with July 1 shipments, the company said
