Germany’s crude steel production continues to drop in May
According to statistics released by the German industry association WV
Stahl, the country’s steel mills produced 3.71 million tons of crude
steel in May, decreasing by 5.4% year on year.
In the first five months, output of crude steel products totaled 18.38
million tons, decreasing by 2% compared to the same period a year ago.
During January to April, the country’s output of steel products totaled 12.86 million tons, up by 3.4% year on year.
