Taiwan’s re-rolling steel mills to slow down raw material purchasing

Due to the low price steel sources competition from Chinese mills and the highly pressure from the US antidumping case on Taiwan’s coating steel products, Taiwan’s re-rolling mills unable to reach its sales target in recent months.

Although China Steel Corp. has cut its September to support its downstream users and offered special HRC price rate to Taiwanese re-rollers; however, CSC's new price is still higher than other import source.

For Taiwan’s re-rollers, they do really have highly concern in getting high price raw material source. Currently the re-rolling steel mills have tried to slow down their raw material purchasing activity to avoid further unexpected profit loss.
