Russia's crude steel output drops in Jun
According to data released by Russtat, Russia’s
crude steel production totaled 5.6 million tons in June, decreasing by
7.5% compared to the same time a year ago.
In the given period of time, the country’s pig iron output totaled 4.3 million tons, up by 1.7% year on year.
During the first half, Russia’s crude steel output decreased by 0.2%;
its pig iron output rose by 3.7%, both compared to figures in the same
month of 2014.
