Japan's steel exports up in Jun
According to data released by Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF),
Japan’s exports of common steel products dropped to 3.422 million tons
in June, down by 5.4% compared to the same month of last year.
The country’s exports have increased for the 7 consecutive months.
Among them, steel exports to South Korea decreased by 12% to 524,000
tons year on year, while shipments to China totaled 493,000 tons, down
by 4.9% on yearly basis.
Japan’s steel exports to Taiwan dipped by 22.9% to 248,000 tons.
