Indonesia’s steel import value drops in Jun
Indonesia’s steel import value totaled US$117.9 million in June,
dropping by 24.8% compared to the previous months, according to data
released by Statistics Indonesia (BPS).
In June, the country’s import values generated by articles of iron and
steel totaled US$312.7 million, decreasing by 3.4% year on year.
In the first half, Indonesia’s steel export values amounted to US$657.7 million, increasing by 42.2% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country’s import values generated by
articles of iron and steel totaled US$1.9 billion, dropping by 11.6%
year on year.
