Indonesia’s steel exports drop in H1
According to Indonesia Bureau of statistics data released showed that
the country's steel imports US$117.9 million in June, a drop of 24.8%
compared with the previous month.
In June, imports of steel products amounted to us US$312.7 million, down
by 3.4% compared with last year. Indonesia steel exports amounted to
US$657.7 million in the first half of this year, an increase of 42.2%
compared with last year.
Meanwhile, the country steel products imports amounted to US$1.9 billion in H1 of this year, down 11.6% compared with last year.
