India finished steel consumption raises in April-June
According to India joint plant Commission issued preliminary estimates,
India finished steel consumption reached of 20.1 million tons during
April-June, an increase of 7.1% year on year. In June, India finished
steel consumption reached of 7.17 million tons of, down 3.3% year on
year.
During April-June of this year, India finished steel production output
was 23.7 million tons, an increase of 2.8% year on year. India
State-owned steel makers SAIL produced 2.53 million tons, an increase of
4.6% year on year; Tata Steel produced of 2.18 million tons, an
increase of 0.3% year on year; RINL company produces 634,000 tons, down
4.2% year on year, respectively.
