Brazil plans to promote exports steel discounts
It is reported that Brazil planned to promote exports steel discounts to
other oversea market, because United States buyers has applied the
application of anti-dumping measures on cold rolled sheet imports from
Brazil. United States select market is no longer a good export
countries, Brazil steel plant will move to other markets, such as
Europe.
According to the latest Ministry of industrial development and foreign
trade data in June, Brazil export totaled 15,600 tons of cold-rolled,
increased 89% month on month, the average price fell 28% to US$477/ton
FOB.
In addition, market participants pointed out that Brazil plates no
longer export to the United States market, but some Brazil Mills are
still selling products at low prices to the United States because
Brazil's exports have few options.
