US crude steel production down 8.4% in mid August year on year
It is reported that US crude steel production output reached 1.768
million on August 15 this year, and the capacity utilization was 73.9%.
The figures compared to the same period of last year, the production
capacity was 1.93 million tons and the capacity utilization was 80.2% in
last year, the production down 8.4 year on year, and down 0.7% month on
month.
Among of them, the production output from different regions included
Northeast region of 223,000/short tons, Great Lakes region of
647,000/short tons, Midwest of 211,000/short tons, Southern of
597,000/short tons, and western of 90,000/short tons, respectively.
