Essar Steel targets on US iron ore
It is reported that Essar Steel planned to introduce new mining and
processing facility which located at outside of Hibbing, Minnesota.
India’s Essar Steel is working on construction on a US$1.9billion mining
and processing facility. The schedule for new mining facility to be
complete in Q2 of 2016, it is expected to produce 7 million tons
annually of high-grade iron ore pellets for 70-80 years.
Essar is placing a large bet on a new booming in US manufacturing that
will create more demand for high-grade, domestically produced steel.
