KKB Associate Firm Gets Projects Worth RM171.1 Million
KKB Engineering Bhd's (KKB) associate company, OceanMight Sdn Bhd, was
awarded projects with a combined worth of RM171.1 million from Talisman
Malaysia Ltd, Sarawak Energy Bhd and Syarikat SESCO Bhd.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Friday, KKB said it received a Letter of
Award (LoA) from Talisman Malaysia for the provision of engineering,
procurement and construction of Wellhead Platform for the Kinabalu
redevelopment project.
"We also received a LOA from Sarawak Energy Bhd for the supply,
delivery, erection and commisioning of a 1,000-tonne fuel storage tank
inclusive of pipings and fittings at Lawas Power Station.
"In addition, we are to supply steel products to Syarikat SESCO annually," it said.
KKB said the completion date for Talisman was scheduled within the
second quarter of 2017, Sarawak Energy within the first quarter of 2016
and SESCO in the third quarter of 2016.
"The projects are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and
net assets of KKB group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2015;
Dec 31, 2016 and Dec 31, 2017," it said.
