WCT bags RM127.39m Kwasa Damansara infra job

WCT Holdings Bhd has been awarded an infrastructure contract for Kwasa Damansara worth RM127.39 million.

In a stock exchange filing last Friday, WCT said its wholly-owned subsidiary, WCT Bhd, accepted a letter of award from Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd to construct and complete the common infrastructure work for Kwasa Damansara township in Sungai Buloh.

The job scope consists of site clearance and site preparation, including earthwork, roadwork, road furniture, drainage works, sewerage reticulation and sewerage treatment plant, water reticulation, park and ride facility, electrical infrastructure works, and soft and hard landscape works.

"The works under the contract shall be completed within 104 weeks and the date of completion is October 8, 2017.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's future earnings and net assets," WCT said.
