Germany recorded the highest output during the month of September. The country produced 3.379 Million tonnes during the month, which is lower by 3.9% when compared with the country’s output of 3.515 Million tonnes during September 2014. On a year-on-year basis, the Netherlands recorded the biggest jump in production. The crude steel output by the Netherlands surged higher by 14.1% in September ’15 over the previous year.
The lowest output was by Croatia. The crude steel output by Croatia dropped sharply by 56.6% from 23,000 tonnes in September 2014 to 10,000 tonnes in September this year.
Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden recorded increased year-on-year crude steel production. Croatia recorded the biggest decline in crude steel output during September ‘15, falling by 56.6% when compared with the previous year.
