KKB Engineering Wins 3 Contracts Worth A Combined RM87.7 Million

KKB Engineering Bhd announced today that it has received three contract awards with an estimated combined contract value of RM87.7 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Thursday, KKB said the first contract is a purchase order from Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) for the supply and delivery of steel high tension poles.

The second contract is a supply order from PPES Works-PCSB JV's (PPES-PCSB) proposed Kipali interchange project for the fabrication and supply of steel pipes and specials.

Meanwhile, its associate company OceanMight Sdn Bhd (OMSB) has also received a letter of award from Talisman Malaysia Ltd (Talisman) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the Bunga Pakma Wellhead Riser Platform.

The completion date for the Talisman project is the third quarter of 2017, while for both the SESB and PPES-PCSB contracts, completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2016.

The above awards are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the KKB Group for the 2016 and 2017 financial years.
