Scrap

-          Korean domestic scrap prices declined further to $446 per tonne for H1 grade – source: SBB

-          Tokyo Steel raised scrap purchase prices by 1,000 Yen per tonne at Kyushu plant and by 500 Yen per tonne at its other plants – source: Yieh

Semis

-          CIS billet producers hold export prices steady for the seventh consecutive week at $680-690 per tonne FOB Black Sea – source: MB

Bar

-          South African rebar prices increasedby 5-10% on 1 September to $1,000 -1,010 per tonne – source: SBB

-          Spanish domestic rebar prices increased by Euro 10-15 per tonne to Euro 550-570 per tonne ($775-780) delivered – source: SBB

-          Shanghai Futures Exchange rebar dropped by 0.7% to 4,800 Yuan per tonne ($749) – source: MB

HRC

-          US HRC reference price FOB Midwest rose by 0.7% to $685 per short ton ($755) – source: SBB

-          Russian Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel (MMK) and Severstal rose HRC export prices by $10-15 to $700-710 per tonne FOB Black Sea and Baltic Seas – source: MB
