Scrap

-          Japanese scrap export price drop in Kanto auction at 22,610 Yen per tonne ($436) FAS by Hanwa Co.; 33,500 Yen per tonne FAS for 5,000 tonne by Mitsui Bussan Metal; 33.450 Yen per tonne FAS by Hanwa for another 3,000 tonne; 33,110 FAS for 4,000 tonne by Kusano Sangyo – source: SBB

Semis

-          CIS slab price have strengthened. European producers are willing to pay at $620-640 per tonne FOB Black Sea – source: SBB

-          LME three-month billet officials were unchanged at $570-580 per tonne on Wednesday – source: MB

Bar

-          Chinese rebar futures up by 25 Yuan per tonne to 4,790 Yuan per tonne (&745) – source: MB

HRC

-          HRC is offered to Turkey at $715 per tonne CFR from Ukraine, up by $15 per tonne – source: SBB

-          Russia's HRC offer price for July was $730-740 per tonne CFR and was $760-775 per tonne CFR for September production – source: SBB

-          HRC prices in Europe were unchanged in a quiet market, at Euro 530-540 per tonne ($762-776) ex-work in France, Germany and northern Europe – source: MB

-          HRC prices in Indonesia have gone up by 200-300 Rupiah per kg ($23-35 per tonne) to 8,200-8,300 Rupiah per kg – source: MB
