Scrap
- Taiwan's scrap import price from US (80:20) is 400 USD per tonne – source: Yieh
- Shredded scrap in China at 399 USD per tonne C&F, Korea at 389 USD per tonne for HMS1 basis, Japan H2 scrap at 366 USD per tonne, Taiwan's shredded at 379 USD per tonne C&F, up $21 – source: SBB
Semi-finished steel prices
- Billet booking price in Southeast Asia remained 565-580 CFR from Taiwan, Russia and CIS – source: MB
Bar prices
- Turkish rebar deal at 580-590 USD per tonne two weeks ago, and the offer this week is 590-600 USD per tonne CFR, but no report that the deal is concluded – source: MB
- Taiwan's bar producers raised rebar price by TWD300 per tonne ($10). Medium-sized SD280 rebar is TWD 18,700 - 19,200 per tonne – source: SBB
- China's Hebei Iron & Steel (Hegang) increased rebar price by RMB80 per tonne ($12). HRB335 rebar is RMB 4,280 per tonne ($640) – source: SBB
Hot rolled coil prices
- Indonesia HRC price from Krakatau Steel up by 50-150 Rupiah per kg ($6-16 per tonne)to 7,700-7,800 Rupiah per kg- source: MB
