- Italy's domestic scrap prices for grade E3 (heavy melting scrap) is 220-230 Euro per tonne, for E40 (shredded) is 250-260 Euro per tonne, for E8 (new arising) is 280 – 290 Euro per tonne – source: SBB

Semi-finished steel prices
- Hyundai is offering billet at 560-570 USD per tonne FOB to southeast Asia for late October and November deliveries; offer of billet price from other billet producers at 540-550 USD per tonne FOB - source: SBB
