Vietnam's domestic steel market demand continued to improve, effecting from exports growth. During the first five months of this year, Vietnam’s steel production increased by 1 million tons, estimated this year's production will reach a record 14.9 million tons.
According to market sources said that Vietnam's steel demand in the first five months totaled of 12.39 million tons, the steel monthly average of 2.48 million tons, hit a record high. While steel production also increased by 1 million tons, an increase of 19.3%, as twice the growth rate of the same period last year.
