Steel Prices in China
Long steel
- East China, domestic, grade III 16-25mm rebar, traded at 2,260-2,300 yuan ($338-344) per tonne, including VAT. North China, domestic, grade III 16-25mm rebar, traded at 2,450-2,480 yuan ($366-370) per tonne, including VAT– source: Steel First

- Platts assessed SPCC grade 1.0mm thick CRC at $388-392/metric ton FOB China Tuesday, implying a midpoint of $390/mt FOB – $7.5/mt up on the week. The export price spread between China-origin CRC and HRC was $27.5/mt on Tuesday.
